Well, in yesterday's Digest, I was admitting that I stole that joke. Turns out I stole it from Ken. So tonight I'm reading a book called Tales from Sawyerton Springs by Andy Andrews. There, on page 75, is the following paragraph.
"The group, Carl Benson's Wildcats, usually plays high school reunions.......... At first, everyone had been disappointed because Carl was sick and didn't make the trip. Carl's mother, however, was a more than ample substitute on the saxophone."
