Her facial expressions while Andrews worms out of this touchy situation is a riot. Andys Investment, Mrs Larch aka Aunt Nora (Maude Prickett) and the delightful Jesslyn Fax as Mrs LeGrande , in the laundymat is genuinely funny for an embarrassed Andy Taylor as he's almost a model for womens dress. The great Ken Lynch as the detective is solid support in his no nonsense style. Howard & Millie has the classic line from Jack Dodson "Some people thought i looked like a young Tom Dewey." What Millie saw in Howard with Sam waiting in the wings is still a mystery.Allen Melvin would had been better for her. Howards New Life is a JD delight. "wanna buy a ship in a bottle" This is the show with his bare feet we all discussed sometime ago. he had that pricetag in his shorts when he went to stretch. The Mayberry Chef is a gem. i love this because of the misplaced laddle & Aunt Bee live on tv scrambling about the set in search of it. Her classic line stirring saying "smooth smooth smooth." What gems in her character this night. lastly oh here it comes folks Suppose ANdy Gets Sick." we all disagree on things in life but we all agree here that the best scene is an Andy Griffith tour de force as his head spins about as hes tossed by his panjama tops all doped up , trying to settle in bed with a roomful of lovable nuisances with Aunt Bee chiming in "Just one more chicken sandwich" And my good friend VInce Barnett as Elmo Mayberrys druggist giving Goober that contemptible look when Goober extends his best to Elmo's wife while writing him out a ticket."
