As for one episode for the rest of my life, it's very tough but my first reaction is Howard's New Life - he tries leaving home in search of something he thinks he wants, but then comes home to Mayberry realizing he had it all along.....A great life lesson.... If you have never seen the epilogue to this one, it wraps the whole lesson up nicely and ends with Howard drinking pop at the station and with a very content look on this face..... Of course, I am partial to this episode as a throwback to my "beach bum" days....... There are others that could be a better pick....
