Happy Thanksgiving Mayberrians! One enduring Mayberry mystery is the presence of a rather large boat immediately behind the courthouse on the 40 acres lot. It seemed to be there for several years, but I can't find anyone who knows why it was there. It couldn't have been filmed while sitting there, yet there it was, without even a hint of water anywhere near it. Kind of like "all dressed up and nowhere to go."
