'I'm afraid the fish ain't the only one that got away'. What does Andy's
comment mean ?...Holland Shoaf
Bill Bixby..was very angy with Andy for his arrest and even threatened to get
his father to come up against Andy..How do u fight anger?...with kindness...and
that's what Andy proceeded to do..He tried to show the boy that he was not a
hard nosed, live by the book, lawman but that he was a gentle understanding
person as well..but the boy misread Andy's intentions and rebelled against the
sheriff again when he threw the fish back and walked away...so Andy was
implying that all of his good intentions toward the boy had failed and they
were enemies once again....hope that explains Andys comment....
