About a week ago, I was watching the Celebrity Apprentice. One of the contestants is Cindy Lauper, an iconic Singer. She was in a van with teammates going to a studio to sing some commercials, and she had some laryngitis the day before. She started making some weird sounds with her finger in her mouth. Her teammates knew that she was trying to warm up her voice..but it looked and sounded pretty weird. I was expecting her to belt out a meee they me theyyyyy I ooo uuuuuu I ooooo uuuuuu at any time.
I had to laugh and thing of Barney and his Vocal Calisthenics, I guess Mrs. Poultice's principles were still in use. I was hoping Cindy would practice breathing so I could give her a grade..but she never stopped talking long enough :-). ------------- Ken, I love hearing your stories about your supermarket. I'd love to have a retired gentleman of your character and Mayberry values working at my local supermarket. That must be refreshing. You may not run through the streets of town delivering groceries, but I'll bet you occasionally provide assistance delivering to the cars of people who need a little assistance. After working there for a while, I have just one question. "Do you know anything about cutting meat?"
