Dixon, I remember the Ron Howard appearance on SNL as well. I agree that Mr.
Griffith would not be a good fit for that show in it's present form. Not only
because of the racy content but most of the current viewers may not know who he
is. I thought one of the funniest things about Ron Howard's appearance was at
the beginning of the show when Eddie Murphy kept calling him "Opie Cunningham".
Margaret, Glad you came through the terrible flooding and hope the city of
Nashville can recover soon. Nashville if one of my favorite cities. Whenever
friends ask about a good vacation spot, my wife and I always say, "Go to
Nashville". It's a beautiful city and there is so much to see and do. We were
only able to spend 5 days there and want to go back. We never met an
unfriendly person the entire time we were there. I'm sure even Ellen Brown
would think it's a friendly town and I guess that's why Floyd wanted to go
there.
