Well it is that time of year again when the networks roll out their new fall
schedules. Maybe one or two winners, but mostly duds.
We all know that when TAGS left the air on September 16, 1968, the next Monday
their slot was filled by "Mayberry R.F.D." But can anyone guess the name of
the television show that TAGS replaced when it debuted on October 3, 1960? I
will give you a hint: Like TAGS, this show was named after its' star.
Orville Hendricks - Peddling Butter and Eggs. I replaced that worthless Mr.
Frisby as the Taylor butter and eggs man after Frisby went to jail for
moonshining.
