The actor who played Mr. Schwump in TAGS was in "Christmas in Connecticut",
a 1945 movie, with Barbara Stanwyck. He did not have a major or speaking
role, but rather was a guest at a party, and of course uncredited. Not much
to go on there, but you can definitely see it's him.
