I wonder if anyone else heard the John Boy and Billy Big Show this morning.
It's a syndicated radio show mainly in the Southeast but has moved into the
Mid-West. They are BIG TAGS fans and this morning they had an actor/comedian
on named Craig Shoemaker. He did the best Don Knotts impression I have ever
heard. He said Don Knotts was his idol and he had met him several times at
Comedy Relief. He said Don told him, "You do me better than I do". A little
trivia. In the movie Pleasentville, Don was sick through part of the filming
and it affected his voice. They had Shoemaker come in and over dub Don for
about half of the film. I haven't seen the picturein a few years, but I never
would have known.
