I recently watched an episode of Sanford and Son.Fred,Lamont,and Rollo were tossed in the clink.The jailer walked by the cell door and called them Wynken,Blynken,and Nod. FYI:Eugene Field was a poet whose forte was writing children's books.Wynken,Blynken,and Nod was mentioned in a Dutch lullaby many many years ago.It is a rather lengthy lullaby.Go to a search engine and type in his name and the other three names,and the poem should show up.
