We saw the genuine two wheeled motorcycles in several episodes of TAGS.
When the State Police came into Mayberry in Episode 2 "The Manhunt" they
came into town on motorcycles with the sirens blowing. Also when Thomas A.
Mooney, AKA, Sheldon, was escorted to the county line he was escorted by two
policemen on motorcycles. In Mayberry RFD two episodes had motorcycles too.
Howard's girlfriend took up motorcycle riding and wanted Howard to do the
same but when he got on her cycle he decided not to ride along. Then in
Emmett's Birthday a young chap rode up to Emmett on his motorcycle and asked
for directions. He thanked Emmett and called him "Gramps".
