Hey, Mayberry friends. I saw a great interview with 'Goober' on Ralph Emery last night from 1997. He talked about his career, his book and working on TAGS and Hee Haw. His favorite thing from the 'Griffith show' was working with Andy and Howard McNear. His favorite thing from Hee Haw?.........the girls.
Such a nice and interesting man. (a real Prince.) About being typecast as a country bumpkin he says "Well, I am one." He may be George Lindsey but he'll always be 'Goober' to me.
