I have waited to add my opinion on Christmas episodes to see what others though about the issue.
I think the reason, as others offered, was because of reruns. It is hard to rerun seasonal episodes when that season is passed. People don't understand why a Christmas episode is airing during the summer so to avoiding that happening they avoided Christmas episodes.
