I received a wonderful surprise today at a car show. I was asked to speak a little and tell what I do with my passion for Mayberry. When I finished I was presented with a very nice appreciation award for all I do to keep Memory alive and well. I was about to walk away when the Duke of Earl told me he had one more item for me. He presented me with a beautifully framed autographed picture of Don Knotts. On the back of the photo he had written in gold. "A big thanks! The Classic Car Hobby is brighter from your giving! Follow your DREAM.... and enjoy the ride..
