Last night I had the great pleasure of hearing a Christmas concert by The Brian Setzer Orchestra, the rockin'est, swingin'est awesomest band in the world (maybe even better than Bobby Fleet and His Band with a Beat). If you've never heard of Brian Setzer, I think you'd at least of heard of his big hit record, Rock This Town, back when he had a trio called The Stray Cats.
Anyway, during one song, Brian was playing a guitar solo, and he inserted the first several bars of The Andy Griffith Theme. Made me smile.
