Orville, I gave a think to your mystery of why Aunt Bee would get a birth announcement for Arnold. She and Clara went to high school together and I wonder where that was if they both ended up in Mayberry. Also, she helped raise Andy so maybe she have been in and out of Mayberry. Since Opie and Arnold were the same age, Arnold's father was probably around Andy's age and knew each other in school. Aunt Bee also told storys of Andy in high school.
