Listening to The Adventures of Sam Spade on Radio Classics and heard Lurene Tuttle, Ben Weaver's clanking shoplifter. In checking Lurene's radio credits, I found out that she a major player on Sam Spade, playing just about every female character. She was known for doing up to 15 radio shows a week, a feat that earned her the title of the "First Lady of Radio."
