TAGS fans (especially Holland Shoaf), Thank you Holland Shoaf for pointing out the difference between ammonia and freon refrigerators. I didn't know that! (You out to write an article on it for that "Learn-A-Month" magazine Barney subscribes to.) Anyway, I bet the reason the writers indicated that the gas smelled like ammonia was because Freon was a trade-marked name belonging to DuPont (and may still be). It was cheaper, then, to say it smelled like ammonia than to pay royalties to DuPont--if they could even get permission, since it's clear that smelling the gas was a negative experience, something most corporations don't want to happen on the most-watched show on TV. Thanks again for the new knowledge,Sam www.tuttles.net _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
