I got to thankin, and was wonderin' what might be the qualities for a good weatherman in Mayberry? I'm a fan of James Spann, and I wonder if some of his qualities might've fit right in? Now, Barney might've become a storm chaser, with his side car, or maybe even with a radar on top of the squad car. Of course, he would wear his gauntlets and goggles, as well, being careful not to ride into the wind with his mouth open. :-)
