This may have been discussed before, but I was noticing last night the similarities between the opening scenes of Ep. 1, The New Housekeeper, and "Andy Saves Barney's Morale." They both open with the same camera shot of the courthouse with a big "Mayberry Courthouse" sign above the door and a man in overalls and a hat walking by. The difference, though, is that the man is walking in different directions in the two. The other similarity I noticed is the episode intro. The video from both has a bit less color saturation than most other 1st season episodes, and the theme song is a little different (the whistling doesn't take it to the "2 chord" before the music starts). Interesting!
