Matt, Thanks for starting the discussion about the Top 5 emotional TAGS moments - hard to disagree with yours, or any of the others mentioned. It just goes to show, once again, how great writing and acting made TAGS such a classic, memorable show.
One of my favorites is the end of "Opie's Hobo Friend", first when Opie asks Buddy Ebsen, his hobo friend, if he really stole Aunt Bee's purse - then left behind the fishing lure that Buddy had given him. The look on Opie's face, and Buddy's avoiding looking at Opie, or answering him, are moving scenes. Then, when Andy lets Buddy go to catch the train, and they look at each other without saying much directly - that is some great acting too.
