Michael, Very well stated. I actually now enjoy noticing the inconsistencies, and continuity errors. It gives one's imagination an opportunity to envision "what-if" scenarios. I also now enjoy noticing scenery and backgrounds that are "inconsistent" with Mayberry, like seeing the top of the Desilu studios across the street behind Andy's house on the 40 acre lot, etc.
