I was watching a really good movie Wednesday night on TCM that I've never seen before: "Abe Lincoln in Illinois", released in 1940. During a meeting when Abe met with local political leaders to introduce himself, one of those men, whose face you couldn't see, had a very distinctive and familiar voice. It was none other than our Mayor Pike (a/k/a Dick Elliott), 20 years before appearing in TAGS. Another surprise alumni sighting (or at least hearing).
