Janet's post about the Bookie Barber brought to mind something I always wondered about with Ellen Brown, he manicurist. How was she going to make a living if she only worked on tips? When Andy had his manicure he gave Floyd money and then handed Ellen a tip, which looked like maybe a quarter. How was she suppose to pay rent, buy her meals, and her expenses on that kind of money?
