Andy was forever using names of people he knew on the show. For
instance Meyers Lake was named after Frank Meyers, one of the behind scenes
people on the show.
Which brings me to this trivia question. In the episode "The Cow
Thief", the state inspector is named William Upchurch. There was a
semi-regular on the show whose birth name was Upchurch. Any one know who it
was?
