Mourning the loss of Ronnie Schell, who died June 12th, aged 94. He appeared twice on TAGS and was a regular on Gomer Pyle, USMC as Duke Slater. Ronnie was a class act and a really down to earth guy. My wife and I talked with him and his son at length at Mayberry Days in 2024. He was funny, and loved to tell personal stories. He asked US to take a picture with him! An all around nice, friendly guy, but just don't buy a mink stole from him.
