David, It was written at Bank Street College of Education in New York with Turning Point Software in 1988. It is very sophisticated and is a DOS program but uses 'windows'; amazingly good for writing fiction and non-fiction. The version i had doesn't interface with Windows; it is that update I'm hoping exists. Its name is Wordbench.
I have just found an emulator (CoCo 1.3) which i will try out later - thanks for giving further jogging to the grey cell.
