It is doing the latter; how do I make it offer download to HD. The SBook version does that automatically; not the pdf.I'm assuming that the file works ok for you on your PC. Are you trying to simply download/save the file to your hard drive from the site or are you trying to open the pdf within the browser itself?
If you are simply saving it to your hard drive then I can't see why you would be getting such an error. It's probably more likely that you are trying to open the pdf within the browser, and it's having trouble doing so, either because of the size of the file or because there is a problem with the integration of pdf's with your browser. Have you experienced troubles with viewing pdf's within your browser before?
I have just done a clean re-install. But I have had pdf go happily straight into the browser -- oh, and yes, I had one today for a form. So it may not be much-slated IE this time!
I will be off to bed in the UK shortly (It is early hours) but I will be grateful for any advice to follow tomorrow.
