It's generally not recommended, as you will have DLLs trouncing all over each other, with a strong possibility of mismatched DLLs. If you *must* do it, it is suggested you start with the earliest version, installing subsequent versions into different directories (folders). While many of the "core" features will work, don't be surprised if you run into problems with some of the more ancillary features. This guidance applies to all MS Office applications, and most applications, in general.
The setup wizards have a rule that they will not install an older version of a file (i.e., DLL)over a newer version... that's why you will likely have trouble if you start with a later version of the application and try to install an earlier version concurrently.
