Hello all, I got a phone call today from a gentleman who was trying to access our college website, and not having much luck. According to the gentleman, he can go to the main Athletics page, but when he tries to get to the individual pages, all he gets is black lines. He thinks he is using AOL 4.0 (he does not seem to be very computer-savvy).
The page that works: http://www.wlc.edu/athletics/ (despite the fact that neither CSS nor HTML validate) The page that does not: http://www.wlc.edu/athletics/baseball/ (with valid CSS and HTML, go figure) The pages use external stylesheets for formatting. The layout is done with tables. Navigation elements are generated via javascript (since our web host does not support server-side scripting of any kind). I have googled for CSS AOL 4.0 problems, and was unable to find anything helpful. Tried installing AOL 4.0 on my machine, no luck. Tried installing IE 3.0, also no luck. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or explanations for the bizarre browser behavior! Thank you in advance, Olya ____ • The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM • ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To change subscription settings to the wdvltalk digest version: http://wdvl.internet.com/WDVL/Forum/#sub ________________ http://www.wdvl.com _______________________ You are currently subscribed to wdvltalk as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
