Yes, thanks Michael, I can understand that, and there is junk mail like that, some of it blatant porn. But these three are all text, and all requested by me - they are actually parts of novels, with no problems; that is they are not junk mail, nor do I see much point in them having code.
Unless it is to do with them coming via SendFree. Would send free's top and tail be on their server and blocking the text until their bits download? That would be a way of keeping the mails light yet permitting sophisticated paid for ads. Hmm. Could that be a ball park near the answer?
