Joseph; The following piece of code will work with forwards:
<A href="http://ComputerPerceptions.com" target=_top><IMG height=30 alt="Access Computer Perceptions" src="http://www.computerperceptions.com/images/logo.gif" width=260 border=0></A> Another way to put code in your email is to write an html file that you want to be an email, using the restrictions that you have to make explicit declarations to the web server in order to retrieve graphics. then view that information in a browser and copy and paste from the browser to the html email. A bit clumsy, but works. and is good for testing. But this means the graphic will not show if the mail is being read off-line. Zinester has src="cid:<filename>" with the file as an attachment. But the attachment filename has a '_' added at the front. The gif shows up beautifully, just as the html requests. (Forwarding does not preserve the graphic; upon sending the box comes up saying the graphic cannot be found - using >insert>image the html, which doesn't position very nicely uses file:\\, but still doesn't show the graphic) When I try that (with Outlook Express 5) I get nothing except the box showing where the graphi should be. The only time I get the gif to show is if the url link is to the hard disc. This is useless of course. I can believe I am doing something wrong, but the options are narrowing. Might this problem come about if there was conflict in the system? Joseph > Joseph; > > To program your email in html, you need to make sure the email client is > seeing the html instructions.
