And you can't remember how rudy's amazing doomsday algorithm works even though you've read that web page hundreds of times, so you double-click on the clock in the system tray to open your PC's calendar, and because the focus is already on the month all you've got to do is move the scroll wheel on your mouse down one notch to see December. Of course, if you're doing this first thing in the morning before you've had any coffee, you then press OK instead of Cancel and send a load of email before realising.
