I am generating tables and filling in cell content using php and mysql. I have set the table border to "1" to show a simple 1px outline, but empty cells do not show it. Is there any way to force the outlines of the empty cells to appear, short of trying to determine if it's empty and then inserting a return (I have many data inserts that would have to be determined for blanks!!).
