Hi Cheryl,

I am new to the group.

I built my own e-commerce site using Mals shopping cart (www.mals-e.com) and I found
it very easy to use. I haven't tried CandyPress though.

I am not sure what you mean by keeping the shopper at your store - with Mals, when the
customer places an item in the cart, there is a continue shopping link that sends them
back to the page they came from. You can customize your shopping cart page to look
just like your page and your customers won't know the difference.

There are companies like Propay (www.propay.com) and Paypal (www.paypal.com) that you
can use to take cc's. Paypal is free and requires someone to open an account to use
them, Propay has an annual fee but you can just plug in the cc number and other info.
You can link these to your bank account.

These are the things I used for my first site (for my own personal business) - you can
see it if you want at www.thebubblebath.com.

HTH,
Riva
