Thanks Bj for replying. I took the extra ) off and it still not working; 
the error changed to: line 7, char 32, Object doesn't support this property 
or method. Any idea what's wrong now?  btw, there is a sample demo that 
works in the IE on the URL you mentioned, but it doesn't work with my NN4.7 
and NN6.2   I don't know why?  (I think most of these javascript code are 
not perfect or handicapped with different browsers somehow.  a bit suck!)
