Tris,

Here's a VBScript solution that toggles your div...
<html>
<head>
<script language ="vbscript">
function hideIt1()
  if document.getElementById("select1").value = "id" then
    document.getElementById("divReq2").style.visibility = "visible"
    'msgbox "Working"
  else
      document.getElementById("divReq2").style.visibility = "hidden"
  end if
end function
</script>
</head>
<body>
<form name="searchform" method="post" action="#" id="searchform">
 <select name="select1" onchange="hideIt1()" id="Select1">
  <option value=""></option>
  <option value="id">ID</option>
  <option value="bu">BU</option>
 </select>
<div id="divReq2" style="visibility: hidden;">
 <b>ID No:</b>
 <br>
  <select name="Select2" id="Select2">
   <option value=""></option>
   <option value="9512">9512</option>
   <option value="9513">9513</option>
  </select>
</div>
</form>
</body>
</html>
