Javascript really isn't the language for that.  Being client-side, running 
on a wide range of different platforms etc, it just wouldn't be reliable 
enough.

Also, to do most of the things you want to do with a form (processing, 
database submission/emailing etc etc) you'd need access to the server's 
resources).

I'm not sure why anyone would want to attempt to use JS to handle forms 
(beyond the basic validation - which should be a 'nicety', with the form 
still submitting if JS is disabled).
