Hi Riva,
I'm leaning towards the problem being Zone Alarm - clean install might be
it. I never had a problem before using just the update. See my last post
responding to Mike E. More info there. There might be a glitch in the
clean install or the update itself this time around.

ever seeing when updating in the past. That entry was to update or do a
clean install and it recommended the clean install so I tried that this
time. I never once had a problem before doing just and update.
So, now I wait to see what happens when I use my browsers. I hate to
keep testing - it's hard on the hard drive to keep going into the reboot
thing so I don't want to push my luck.
