Thank you Cheryl. I was getting desperate enough to go down the route of yet another program to install and forget. But I have just tinkered and found my way to >control panel>user accounts; and by unticking everything I could see I have got rid of what may be a very useful screen to some... but, as Cecil B de Mille said, count me out. [Cecil? is it Cecil?]
