Even McAfee isn't going to uninstall the uninstaller. If there is no uninstall in the program group, then use the wizard. Odds are you'll have more than several chances to not uninstall once you begin the process.
Thanks Drew - in the mean time things got worse. This computer is going back to the store. I have made the determination that I hate Gateway.
