What I can't work out with these automatic responses is why -
since it is sent to the responder from the list - it sends these
messages to the original sender and not to the list, which has
become the immediate sender; if any of that makes sense!
And then.... Hit reply and although that goes to the list the
info is of the original sender. That still doesn't answer it;
the list remains the reply address. One makes effort to extract
the original sender's address if there is a need to use it.
Well digits to the world - I mean here's to the digital world.

same thing with the cheeky response I sent to you!
It appeared on the list and then I got a mail like this as well
I've emailed Linda to see what's what but she's
probably still in dreamland so it will be later today before we
hear anything.
