As you can see, IE 5 and 5.5 are not displaying most of anything
properly. As you can see by the notes on the url noted above, I
suspect I'm having issues with box model problems and float clears??
Almost certainly there are box model problems with 5 and 5.5 as well
as clearing issues; it's the nature of the beast. Probably the best
resource for you is
http://www.positioniseverything.net. See the section on IE vs
Standards. You may easily spot a bunch of your problems with
haslayout, float, and box discussions. When dealing with the float
issues liberally sprinkle with an element just defined as clear:both.
You can always remove the extras and doing it specifically rather than
with slick hacks will make like easier with the 5s.
As always, you'll be able to get specific help on particular problems
that still may be confounding. But I think a visit to pie and your
skills will clear up most of it straight away.
