I am slowly working my way towards using a Wiki on my website,
and not transferring the blog from wordpress. This would
enable a body of more easily accessed information (I think).
And that would allow for a forum style approach to specific
issues, problems and questions.
Any comments on the comparative value of a wiki v blog [blog
pages in particular]; and recommendations of a script. My host
offers both DocuWiki and MediaWiki 4 or 5. I know there are
others.
I rather like DokuWiki, it's pretty simple and effective - it's
ideal for use for documentation (its main purpose) but could
also be used for a full site. See my install at
http://wiki.preshweb.co.uk/ for an example.
MediaWiki is the better-known though, hosting rather important
sites like http://www.wikipedia.org/ :)

Thanks Dave. I'll investigate those tomorrow. Wikipedia is
excellent, but has far more to it that I will need. For the
moment the simpler the better ;-).
