Actually, that was bad phrasing and does anyone else have a word for lap
blanket, couch throw, small afghan... You know, the small (5' x 6' or 6' x
9' are my usuals) throws that live on the couch (as opposed to a blanket for
a bed).
The one I made for her is variegated and she waxed so enthusiastic I
couldn't bear to tell her that it didn't match the picture in my head when I
started.
Then again, very seldom do they ever match the initial picture, eh?
A strange person, hmm? Only on good days. And I get it from the
aforementioned grandmother, in fact.
