So, I thought I'd start using plus addressing... Works just fine for my
IMAP users, but those on POP3 would need to log in with "user+folder" to
be able to pop from sub folder.
Are you sure this actually works with cyrus?
Quoting from http://cyrusimap.web.cmu.edu/archives/cyrus-overview.html:
"Due to limitations in the POP3 protocol, the server can only access a
user's INBOX [...]"
AFAIK, plus addressing is only for delivery purposes. Not that I'd be
sad if it weren't true -- on the contrary, it could solve a couple of
problems I'm having!

Well, as far as I've found, a user should be able to pop from a
subfolder using a login in the form 'user+folder'. Even in Cyrus POP,
but I haven't been able to verify it since my saslauthd won't let the
user in...
If I telnet to the daemon, I get this:
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
+OK iris Cyrus POP3 v2.1.15 server ready <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
user nb0003+folder
+OK Name is a valid mailbox
pass <not shown>
-ERR [AUTH] Invalid login
user nb0003
+OK Name is a valid mailbox
pass <not shown>
+OK Maildrop locked and ready
So, the Cyrus POP daemon correctly finds the mailbox, but saslauthd
cannot verify the user. Is there a way to recofigure it so it'll work?
