-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I followed the howto available from the documentation on site regarding setting web-cyradm for the postgres backend, although I'm using debian.
Everything runs perfectly except for pam: Mar 27 03:45:04 vs2 saslauthd[19020]: (pam_unix) authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty= ruser= rhost= user=cyrus Mar 27 03:45:04 vs2 PAM_pgsql[19020]: attempting to authenticate: cyrus Mar 27 03:45:04 vs2 PAM_pgsql[19020]: cyrus Mar 27 03:45:04 vs2 PAM_pgsql[19020]: query: SELECT password FROM accountuser WHERE username='cyrus' Mar 27 03:45:04 vs2 PAM_pgsql[19020]: (imap) user cyrus authenticated. Mar 27 03:45:06 vs2 saslauthd[19020]: DEBUG: auth_pam: pam_authenticate failed: Authentication failure Mar 27 03:45:06 vs2 saslauthd[19020]: do_auth : auth failure: [user=cyrus] [service=imap] [realm=] [mech=pam] [reason=PAM auth error] So, aparently pam_pgsql authenticated the user correctly, but then pam reports it as a failure. Has anyone hit this problem?
