are you want to setup a fallback server witch makes his work if server 1 ist
dead?

Then I would do this:

1.       Set two MX Records ->  10 server 1 and  20 for server 2
If a Mailserver trys to connect to server 1 (because every server trys first 10
and if this isn’t able to connect the second also the 20 MX IP Adress!

2. The first Server (mx 10!) ist your Server whitch runs for 2 Jears with
webcyradm.

3. The Second Server (IP Adress from MX20!) is the same setup like the
first Server, but the Mysql Database for Userauth is the same, or you setup a
new mysql server witch is a slave server and replicated the data between the
default mysql server for your postfix/webcyradm setup. Both mysql servers must
have the same data.!

Regards,

Marcel

Subject: [Web-cyradm] Setting up a mail fallback server

Dear List,

After using Web-Cyradm for over 2 years now i want to setup a mail fallback
server.
I've been trying to set it up but it currently doesn't work like i would.
The setup i'm trying to create is similar to the current server with the
database checking for valid users/domains so not all mail is beeing relayed.
And it's not realy clear to me how i need to configure postfix for relaying the
e-mail to the main server.

I hope someone can help me with it :-)

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Richard Pijnenburg
