Since you are maintaining your web pages in an excellent fashion and
even have a dedicated list, it is entirely appropriate to substitute
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> in the footers of Hurd pages with the address of
this list (or anything else as you see fit).

Thus you would avoid the (useless) loop.  It's up to you, of course --
we don't mind getting mail about Hurd [1], but in any event as a
matter of courtesy we won't edit the pages without the maintainers'
consent.
